Frequently Asked Questions about Concrete
How soon can you start my project?
It depends on the season and our current schedule, but we do our best to get you on the books quickly—usually within 1–3 weeks. Need it sooner? Give us a call and we’ll see what we can move around.
How long does it take to install concrete?
Most residential jobs, like driveways and patios take 1–2 days for setup and pour, plus curing time. Commercial projects may take longer depending on size and scope. We’ll give you a clear timeline before we start.
How long does concrete take to cure?
You can usually walk on it after 24–48 hours. Light vehicles after 5–7 days. Full curing takes about 28 days—but don’t worry, we’ll guide you on exactly when it’s safe for use.
Can you pour concrete in the rain?
Light mist? Maybe. Downpour? Nope. Wet weather can mess with the mix and the finish. We’ll keep an eye on the Pensacola forecast and reschedule if needed to make sure you get a flawless finish.
Do I need a permit for my concrete project?
Depends on the city and the project type. For driveways and sidewalks, yes—usually. Patios and pool decks? Maybe. We’ll help you figure it out and handle the paperwork if needed.
What kind of concrete do you use?
We use high-strength, fiber-reinforced concrete mixes tailored for Florida’s weather and your specific project. Want stamped, colored, or decorative finishes? We’ve got specialty mixes for that too.
How much does concrete cost?
Pricing varies by project size, prep work, finishes, and location. That’s why we offer free, detailed quotes. No hidden fees, no weird surprises—just honest pricing for great work.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Pensacola and work throughout Gulf Breeze, Milton, Cantonment, Perdido Key, and surrounding areas. Have a job outside that zone? Call us—we might still be able to help.
Will decorative concrete last as long as regular concrete?
Yep! Decorative concrete is just regular concrete with a little extra flair (color, pattern, texture). As long as it’s properly installed and maintained, it’ll last for decades—just like the plain stuff.
What’s the difference between stamped, stained, and decorative concrete?
-
Stamped concrete is patterned to look like stone, brick, or wood.
-
Stained concrete uses color treatments to create marbled, vibrant finishes.
-
Decorative is the umbrella term that includes both of those plus saw cuts, borders, and custom textures.
Do you offer warranties?
We stand by our work. While concrete naturally develops small hairline cracks over time, we guarantee quality materials and workmanship. If something’s not right, we’ll make it right.
Do you subcontract the work?
Nope! All work is completed by our own experienced crew. That means better communication, better results, and no guessing who’s showing up.
